Can I renew my domain if it has already expired?

If your domain was purchased with Alveni Cloud and you did not confirm that you want to renew it on time and the expiration date passes, there are the following options:

If it is a .com, .net, .org, .name domain.
 
  •     The domain is disabled immediately on the expiration date.
  •     The domain is 29 days after the expiration date available to be able to renew without problems and at the current renewal price.
  •     After those 30 days, you can enter an indefinite period of time (which varies in each domain and does not depend on Alveni Cloud) called "Redemption Grace Period" in which you can renew but there is a minimum penalty $ 250 usd. plus the cost of the renovation. This extra charge does not depend on Alveni Cloud and may vary without notice.
  •     Once that period ends, the domain is released. This does not depend on Alveni Cloud and it is possible that the time it is released varies and that it is submitted to an auction for its future sale by a third party. At this time it is no longer possible to renew it from Alveni Cloud, however, it could be possible to buy it again if someone does not buy it before.
  •     Alveni Cloud is not responsible for the loss of a domain if the client does not renew it within 20 days after its expiration according to the before mentioned policies.

In any case, if it is decided to renew it, it takes 24-48 hours after its renewal to return it to work properly and to spread this change on the Internet.

If it is a .MX domain
 
  •     The domain is disabled 15 days after the expiration date.
  •     The domain remains 30 days after the expiration date available to be able to renew without problems.
  •     Once that period ends, the domain is available to all public according to the policies of Registry MX. At this time it is no longer possible to renew it from Alveni Cloud, however, it could be possible to buy it again if someone does not buy it before.
  •     Alveni Cloud is not responsible for the loss of a domain if the client does not renew it within 20 days after its expiration according to the before mentioned policies.

In any case, if it is decided to renew it, it takes 24-48 hours after its renewal to return it to work properly and to spread this change on the Internet.
 

In case the client informs in writing the confirmation that he wants to renew his domain before the expiration of the same, it is necessary that he make the payment before the expiration date. If this is not the case, the domain will be disabled and the client will not be able to migrate it to another service or activate it until the amount of the renewal is paid. If they pass more than 30 days after expiration, no reactivation will be possible.
