How do I configure my email account in Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 Mail?

Requirements to carry out the configuration of the email in Windows Mail.

 


1.- Have hired any hosting service in Alveni Cloud

2.- Have Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 operating system installed on the computer

 



Description:


Windows Mail is an email client and newsgroups included exclusively in the operating system Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. It is the successor of Outlook Express.

 


To carry out the configuration of the Windows mail, we will follow the following steps:


1.- Open the Windows Mail program.

2.- Select the Tools option at the top.

3.- In Tools, select Accounts.

 


4.- Click on Add.

5.- Select the type of account, Email Account.

6.- Add your Name.

 


7.- After the email account Ex. (Test@yourdomain.com)

 


8.- Configure the email server, select the POP3 option and write:

 


In POP3 incoming mail server: mail.alvenicloud.com
In Outgoing SMTP mail server: mail.alvenicloud.com


9.- Select the box, The Exit Server requires authentication.

10.- Enter the User name and Password. (The user must be the complete account (test@yourdomain.com) and remember the password.

 


11. - Next and Finish.
