How to Sync Calendars with CalDAV
Our email and collaboration service uses the CalDAV protocol to synchronize calendars across different devices.
The configuration that must be used is shown below:
For iPhone
1.- Open the Settings application and select: Passwords & Accounts:
2.- Select: Add Account
3.- Select: Other as the account type.
4.- Select: Add CalDAV Account.
5.- Enter the following information:
Server: mail.alvenicloud.com
Username: Your email account (e.g. user@yourdomain.com)
Password: The password for your email account
Description: Any description you would like to define (e.g. My Calendar)
6.- Enable the options you want to synchronize: Calendar and Reminders, then save the changes:
7.- Advanced Settings:
Use SSL: Enabled
Port: 443
Account URL: https://mail.alvenicloud.com/WebDAV/
Save Changes.
Your calendar will be visible in the Calendar application.
Note: This guide has been tested on iPhone 6 and 6s devices with iOS version 12.5.1 working without any issues. Therefore, if you have an earlier version, it is recommended to update it.
For Mac - Calendar
Go to the Calendar application.
From the menu, select "Add Account", then in the window select "Add CalDAV Account..."
Click Continue
Enter the following information:
Account type: Manual
Username: Your email account (e.g. user@yourdomain.com)
Password: The password for your email account
Server Address: https://mail.alvenicloud.com/WebDAV/
Then click Create.
Your calendar will be visible in the Calendar application.
