How to make a connection to a MySQL Database

Requirements:
  •     Have hired a hosting service with Alveni Cloud
  •     Have the MySQL client installed on our computer equipment
  •     Have the hosting active to perform the requested movements.

Description:

The MySQL service aims to connect to your Database and manage them. To carry out the connection to your Database you need to perform the following steps.

Process:

To be able to make a connection to the MySQL server and manage its databases:
Mysql Workbench: http://www.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/

Webyog: https://www.webyog.com/product/downloads/


Once the software has been downloaded and installed, it will ask us for a series of data to make the connection to your BD, for which we will highlight the connection with the following data:

Connection to manage your Database externally.
HOST: 207.200.18.80 port 3306
USER: (user who registered in the Control Panel)
PASSWORD: (Password assigned in the Control Panel)


Connection for your web application.

In order for your web application to access the Database, if it is hosted on your shared Alveni Cloud Windows hosting, please use the following information:

HOST: 207.200.18.80 port 3306
USER: (user who registered in the Control Panel)
PASSWORD: (Password assigned in the Control Panel)

However, in order for your web application to access the Database, if it is hosted on your shared Alveni Cloud Linux hosting, please use the following information:

HOST: localhost
USER: (user who registered in the Control Panel)
PASSWD: (Password assigned in the Control Panel)
